Phosphatotitan khouribgaensis

Phosphatotitan is derived from "phosphate" (for the phosphate deposits of Morocco) and the Greek "titan" (giant).
The species epithet, khouribgaensis, combines "Khouribga" (for Khouribga Province) and the Latin "ensis" (from).

Discovery
The remains of Phosphatotitan were discovered in the Lower Couche III marine phosphates of the Oulad Abdoun Basin in the mines at Sidi Chennane, Khouribga Province, Morocco. The holotype (MHNM.KHG.888) consists of vertebrae from the back, hip, and tail, and a partial pelvis.
