About
Titanosaurs (members of Titanosauria) are the broad-chested macronarians, the most diverse and widespread
clade of sauropod dinosaurs, found in one form or other on every continent barring Antarctica. Within Titanosauria are several specialist groups: The argyrosaurids, the huge-necked lognkosaurs, the armoured lithostrotians (which includes the antarctosaurids (aka titanosaurids), saltasaurids, the wide-mouthed nemegtosaurids, and big-nosed aeolosaurids), as well as tons of 'basals' which don't seem to fit into the more specialized groups. YET.
Titanosaurs are the sauropods with staying power and some of them lived right up to the end of the Late Cretaceous.

Etymology
Titanosauria is derived from Greek "Titan" (giant), "sauros" (lizard) and "-ia" (neuter plural).
