The most-inclusive clade containing Aeolosaurus rionegrinus and Gondwanatitan faustoi, but not Saltasaurus loricatus and Opisthocoelicaudia skarzynskii.

Etymology
Aeolosaurini is derived from "Aeolosaurus" (the group anchor, named for Aeolus, the Keeper of the Winds in Homer's Odyssey, in reference to the winds that sweep across Patagonia where it was found) and the Latin "-ini" (tribe).
