About
Lithostrotia is a group within Sauropoda that contains all known armoured titanosaurs. It hasn't been universally accepted, basically because armour isn't compulsory, and despite a name that suggests otherwise not all lithostrotians are armoured.

Etymology
Lithostrotia is derived from the Greek "lithostroton" (paved with stones, like a mosaic).
