Lesothosauridae was the name of a family group that Halstead & Halstead created to house Lesothosaurus and its closest relatives in 1981.
However, after much moving and shaking on the ornithiscian side of the track scientists realised that Lesothosaurus' closest relatives already had a family name - Thyreophora (shield bearers) - so Lesothosauridae is now defunct.
